Based in Germany, Bilstein was the first company to produce
Gas Pressured shock absorbers. In fact to this day Bilstein still uses a mono
tube style design that is unique to only their products (patented). The Bilstein
ride quality and performance level is unsurpassed, many have tried to gain the
same qualities but never to achieve the same results. Each part is pre-tested
before packaged to ensure the highest quality for the consumer. We offer three
different levels of Bilstein shocks; the HD (Heavy Duty), Sport, and the Rallye/Race,
each component having it's purpose. The HD is a great replacement shock for
someone wanting a more positive ride and better performance while the Sport
is the next level up. With its shortened center shaft, the Sport is created
for the person who has lowered their car and demands a dampener that will handle
this lower stance. Next in line are the Race series and the name says it all.
Very aggressive valving along with shortened center shafts, the Race series
shocks are for that, Race use only.
